Face Check with Verified ID – Proof of Concept
The proof of concept (POC) involves integrating Microsoft Verified ID with Facecheck within a Microsoft Teams environment. This POC aims to validate users requesting high-privilege or sensitive support interactions using facial verification, enhancing the security and reliability of authentication processes.
The implementation plan includes:
- Initial deployment of Verified ID and Facecheck for a limited user pilot (5–10 users).
- Conducting workshops to educate users and IT staff on the operational aspects and technical integration of Verified ID with Facecheck.
- Deployment of a custom Teams application, providing two core functionalities:
- Get Credentials: Initiates the issuance of Verified Credentials, stored within Microsoft Authenticator.
- Get Verified: Performs Facecheck-based verification for user authentication.
- Following verification, the Teams app generates a channel notification confirming the user’s verification status, thus allowing support personnel to securely proceed with assistance.
- Estimated implementation timeline: approximately 5–6 days, including workshops and application deployment.

What is Microsoft Entra and why does it matter?
Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory) is the identity and access foundation for a Zero Trust security model. It helps ensure only verified users and devices access your apps and data, enabling secure remote and hybrid work while supporting compliance.
How does MSP Corp implement Entra quickly and securely?
We follow a security-first engagement: discovery and risk review, target architecture for Zero Trust, pilot of key controls, and phased rollout with rollback paths. We harden identities and access policies, align to your compliance requirements, and document everything for your admins so changes are controlled and auditable.
Which Entra services does MSP Corp offer?
Our Entra portfolio includes Entra ID Private Access (limited production rollout) to securely connect users to private resources without traditional VPN complexity, and Face Check with Verified ID proof-of-concepts to modernize verification. We also deliver core Entra capabilities such as access governance and monitoring.
Can you help enforce least-privilege access, MFA, and Conditional Access for a hybrid workforce?
Yes. We design policies that ensure only authorized, verified users and devices access sensitive resources, with strong authentication and granular Conditional Access. We also monitor usage of critical assets and tune policies to reduce risk without blocking productivity.
How does this align with compliance and data governance?
MSP Corp pairs Entra controls with broader data governance and privacy practices so your access strategy supports regulatory obligations and secure data handling across the environment. This security-first approach helps you operate with confidence while remaining compliant.
What is the relationship between Entra and Microsoft Global Secure Access?
Global Secure Access uses Entra Internet Access and Entra Private Access to apply Zero Trust to both SaaS and private apps. MSP Corp deploys these capabilities to shrink attack surfaces, centralize policy, and simplify secure access for employees and partners.
What outcomes should we expect from an Entra engagement with MSP Corp?
Typical outcomes include stronger identity security, simplified secure remote access, clearer visibility into who is accessing what, and a compliance-ready access model that scales with your growth, all delivered with local support across Canada.
What does the first 30 to 60 days look like?
- Week 1 to 2: environment assessment, risks and quick wins, and a Zero Trust-aligned design.
- Week 3 to 4: pilot of MFA and Conditional Access with a defined user group.
- Week 5 to 8: staged rollout, policy tuning, knowledge transfer, and documentation.
This plan is tailored to your environment and change readiness.
